1972 TR-6s frequently had what I believe were AMCO chrome badge
bars/bumper overriders both front and rear...they were slightly more
ostentatious than traditional badge bars in they extended nearly from
end to end, and mounted thru holes in the respective bumpers.
I have a rear bar, and holes in my front (73 TR-6) bumper...
These bars looked pretty good and were robust enough to support badges
and lights...
I have no idea how to find such bars today...and would sure like to
find a decent front bar.
BTW, I mounted two badges on my TR-6 by fabricating a bracket and
spacer through the grille...angled so that the badges were
perpendicular to the direction of travel (and facing front)...two
small bolts thru the badges and spacer in front of the grill and thru
a retaining bracket behind the grill hold things in place...looks
ok...tho a badge bar might be better.
Cheers!

None of the suppliers offer a badge bar for the TR6. Was there ever one
available for this model? I want to mount some Lucas driving lights on
the front on my car, but not directly onto the bumper.
