Always wanted a polished aluminum valve cover for my GT6+. Finally have the
money for it and they dropped it from the Vickie Brit catalog. They list one
for the TR6 but their customer service department says that if it fit the
GT6+ they would list it for both cars. From the articles I've read the head
on the TR6 and GT6+ are identical except for the amount of machining that was
done to provide the correct compression ration. That doesn't affect the valve
train area. If the valve train is the same on both cars then the cover for
the TR6 should fit the GT6+. Before I go ordering one for a TR6 is there
anyone who has any experience with this issue or anyone who might know of any
subtle differences between the two heads. I will probably order it anyway
since I plan to replace the aging 1998cc engine with a TR6 engine sometime
this winter.
