Subject: | TR-4A: First problem, leaking brake master cylinder. |

The brake master cylinder on the new TR-4A is leaking moderately. It's the perfect project for me: on top of the car; self-contained; and I understand how it works. I'm trying to decide whether to buy a new cylinder from TRF or get a rebuild kit and fix the old one. Unless others strongly demur, I'm inclined to rebuild and have a brake shop hone the cylinder. In any case, is there any way to tell what kind of fluid I have in there now? Thanks. John |
