Took the TR-3 from Santa Cruz to Monterey for the Historical Races at Laguna Seca. It was an interesting spectacle, especially up on the hill by the S turn. But none of our cars were there. Nary a one. The closest was Greg Solow's beautiful blue Morgan. At least it had a Triumph engine. Trip home against a quartering wind from the left was a real ordeal. Can anyone say if those plexiglas wind deflectors that mount to the sides of the TR-3 windshield are effective in cutting down the blast with the top down and side curtains off? Thanks. John |
