Brake Squealing. Last year I bought a 1973 TR6 to replace the 1972 TR6, which I bought new in Nice, France and which was stolen in 1993. The car was imported from the USA, Miami and completely rebuilt. It is in show condition. One problem, the brakes squeal like crazy. So far we have changed the brakes three times without any improvement. I have been told the squealing is due to the present brakes pads not having any asbestos in them. Anyone out there that has any ideas? |
