Larry-

Since I was just in the "Mocal" mode, I'll give it a shot...
The oil leaves the adapter housing out of the lower fitting, thru the
cooler and back to housing thru the upper fitting and then to the motor.
Please double check this on your car as some people on the list have talked
about opening and closing some of the internal ports for different reasons.
and I'm sure there are more than just the Mocal units available. Start your
engine and as it warms up, see which hose gets hotter, sooner.
Not to make you re-think your Accusump routing plan, but...
Since the Accusump has a limited capacity, I would try to get the output of
the Accusump as close to the engine side of the oiling system as I could.
To that end, I would want to have the output of the Accusump at the return
from the cooler section of the adapter housing, not at the output of the
adapter where the oil would have to travel thru the cooler to reach the
engine. This area would also be the easiest to plumb, as you could insert
another fitting on the opposite side of that "cone" shaped area where the
upper fitting is on the adapter.

Hope I haven't completely confused you...
