I just finished cleaning out the bore of my (faulty...) wheel cylinder.
There is a ridge down by the pressure/bleed vents in the bore.
It's about 1/8" away from the bottom of the bore, and is almost 1/32"
thick at its thickest point (guess).
Is this a sign of wear, or is it part of the casting/machining?
I intend to hone the cylinder (not with a power hone, will use dowel and
400 wet/dry sandpaper)
Also, I have 2 rebuild kits available, one costing $3 and one costing
$16. I am buying both to compare (different stores). Will notify list
if they are identical :)
Thanks...
