The roll pin you refer to is drawn much larger than real life in the VB
catalog. It is actually just that (a pin) and it is on the release
bearing holder. They prevent the release bearing holder from rotating in
the fork by trapping the pin against the fork pin (which _is_ drawn to
scale).
I think you are probably imagining this pin to be much larger than it
really is.
