And I will have to agree, based on personal experience, as well as
experiences of others. That’s why I suggested to senator Kopp that to
quell the loss of income issue, that a charge for, call it whatever you
want, non-smog surcharge- of $20 every two years (just like the charge now)
for not having to go through all the bull s**t just to drive your car.
Even at $50 it's a bargain. I don’t think too many people would mind
paying this fee. It's certainly a lot less hassle, and frankly you'll pay
that and probably more when you have to go through the hassle! At that
they could even make money, and I for one would be MUCH happier not having
to go through the increasingly troublsome smog check!!!
