know what it is worth though. The mechanicals (motor, brakes, steering,
drivetrain, etc) are all in good working order (with new brakes, ball
joints, trunnions and some other little stuff). The engine has 44,000
miles on it. The interior is new (though I replaced the stock seats
with racing bucket seats). The body is devoid of any major dents, but
riddled with little ones (mainly just on the rear valence and right
quarterpanel). It badly needs fresh paint. It has a convertible top,
and maybe a hard top (what value would this add?). The tires are new
(less than 250 miles). The rims are in really nice shape too. By the
way, I live in New Jersey, a state rather devoid of LBCs.<<

Ed ... you forgot to mention the year of the car. Speaking only
personally, I would prefer an unsmogged model over a later year
(presuming local laws permit), for performance and ease of maintenance
reasons. The relatively low mileage of your car should be a bonus
to someone who intends to work on it. I donšt think the
hardtop adds that much value, as they usually just take up more space in
the garage. Unseen, and presuming the car is circa 1977, I would say
it might fetch 3-4K. The cousin factor ... probably means you
will have to knock off an additional $500 ...
