Hello all! My cousin is looking into his first lbc (or project car, for
that matter). He is on a very ($2000 to $2500) budget for the car and
restoration. He can afford up to $1000 now to buy the car, and will
make about $100 a week for the restorstion. He would like to be able to
drive his lbc during the summer. What then, would be the best lbc for
him? This does not need to be restricted to Triumphs. I went and
looked at a '76 MGB with him today (it was junk though).

Also, he likes the flip up bonnet on the Spitfires. I took him for a
ride in my Spitfire (fairly stock, 1965) and he thought the acceleration
and top speed were fine, maybe a bit more than he needs.

Thanks for any advise!

Ed
