Spit1500 door trim

I am busily stripping my Spit1500 down in preparation for bodywork & paint,
and have come across a problem with the felt and rubber trim on the door
that holds the window in place.  My question is how does one remove the old
trim AND (perhaps more importantly) how does one attach replacement parts?
