Yes there is. If you get a hold of the Bentley Manual, in the front it has
just these instructions, reprinted, I believe, from the TR6 owners manual.
If the car still carries the owner's manual, it should be there. If you
don't have either of these handy, e mail me and I will e mail my
"procedure." It's essential to the longevity of an expensive top!

You'll notice that under the outer edges of the vinyl top (the portion that
is immediately above the window) that there is also velcro. You're
supposed to pull the edge of the top over the velcro on the frame above the
window and fasten it. There will still be a gap, but not as large, and not
one that allows water in. There should be rubber sealing strips "hanging"
down from the bottom of the frame where the velcro is, which contacts the
tops of the windows when they are rolled up. Wouldn't be surprised if
these bits are missing!
