Subject: The TR-4 List.
Hello to the List.
I have taken over the TR-4 list from Dave Shoop (more time on my hands,
I guess).
Anyone who would like a copy of the list can contact me direct. Anyone
who would like to be listed on the list and did not yet send information
to Dave can send it (the info) to me and I will add it to the list.
Ya'll might drop me a line and give me suggestions for what format the
list should go out as. I do both Macs and IBMs am willing to keep separate
list, one on each, so there should not be a compatibility problem for 99%
of the people. As far as formats go, .TXT, .WRI, SimpleText, Filemaker
Pro (my main list), ClarisWorks, Word 6.0, DBF, all are good for me (but
I am not going to keep one of each, just the most requested for each
platform). If another format that I did not list is popular I probably
have software to support it, so fire away.
I am looking for the incoming information (about the LBCs) to be in a
format something like this:
Comm Number: CT5368LO
Year: 1962
Owner: Darrell Leach
Engine: CT 5468 E
Body: 5543 CT
Exterior: Light Blue (code ?)
Interior Blue (code ?)
Manuf. Date: ?
Options: Overdrive
Email: token@ridgecrest.ca.us
Location: Ridgecrest, CA
If it looks familiar I AH-HUM borrowed it from the TR-6 format (I think).
If you don't want to include all that info then don't, just include the
basics.
Any suggestions will be given the respect they are due.
