True, the basecoat/clearcoat systems give a "plastified" look.
I'll talk to my painter about using 1 step Urethane.
Does the paint have to be color sanded?
Is it resistant? (CC 88910 will be a daily driver)
A question for the thread: what degree of "flatness" does the TR6's black have?
Flat flat flat or satin finish?
