My 73 TR6 (with good frame overall, except for minor damage on front left
shock tower) has a wider gap at the top of the doors than at the bottom at
the rear of the doors. i.e., when the doors close, the gap is wider at
the top than at the bottom where the door meets the B post (rear). It
had this gap before I began my repair/restoration, and still has it.
Has anyone ever shimmed a 6 to correct door alignment problems? When I
lift the rear of the car, the gap does not change. All body metal is now
in excellent condition.
What shims have to be put where?

73 TR6 - in fewer pieces than before the weekend.
P.S. I know 6's almost always had poor body panel fit in terms of body
gaps, but maybe a little shimming would help.
