Greetings to all,
Now that I have pretty much shaken out the mechanical stuff, I am
focusing on the interior. Next on the agenda, the seat rebuild.
My seat pans are a little rough, and I am welding them back to health.
Obviously, the color is black. Was it a high gloss, flat, or somewhere
in between?
Since the seat pan is basically in the carpet, the seat pans bottoms are
prone rust. Mine did, but are quite fixable. Once I finish welding the
patch pieces in, does anyone have any words of wisdom on what to do to
keep the pans from rusting again?
