We'll as long as everyone else is telling their days drives, I
have been driving my 64 Sports6 all week, even in the rain on Sunday!
I have been driving it all spring but making a serious effort to get it
out this week even more. Also for anyone who is interested I should have
the 62 TR-SS out of my garage by show day(Champagne British Car Festival
held on May 23,24,25 in Champaign,Il.), I hope. Engine is back in and is
a fresh, hot 1600! I know, so much engine, so much power. Well anyway,
the TVR is finally painted, Astral blue, a rover metal flake, French Blue.
But I'm afraid it wont be seen during LBC week, or most of the driving
season this summer. Unless that is one of you, unknown friends would like
dto send me 2 matched Connelly hides in a medium dove gray, and pay my
friends meager wages to form them into seats and a dash for the little
wayward beast? we'll if Bob can ask for someone to pay him to work for
him I can surely ask for free leather and money for my poor little LBC.
Note** The little cars are not a registered charity yet, but we're
willing to look into it.
TRiumphantly,
Mark
