Hey Lou,
I appreciate your advice but I have already sent him the money. In
Montreal we have severe rust problems, therefore, it is much harder to find
a car in this condition at that price. I just bought a TR-6 hard top today
for $100.00 and the guy sold his TR-6 for $3500.00 and it needed body work
an the engine to be rebuilt. There is a magaxine in Montreal that is
published every week with cars for sale. I found about 12 TR-6's for sale
and they were all above the $7500.00 mark. I think I made a reasonable
purchase not a great one but reasonable. To see what the car is all about.
Well, I guess I will see when I get it. I will take pictures and send them
to you via email. I also bought the TR-6 service manual. The one published
by british leyland. Hopefully it will help me rebuild my car at half the
price as to going to a resoration specialist.
I will obviously have questions where I can't find answer and therfore will
be posting my questions on this mailing list. I found that people are very
helpfull here and hope to get my car in prefect working order.

Thanks,

Patrick

Ps. $2500cdn is about the same as $1700us. Transport will cost me in and
around $600.00.
