Tired of messing with TR8s are you?  Ha!  That stuff you are referring
to is what is left of the seals of your system.  Good ole Castrol LMA
eats them for lunch.  The stuff looks like lumpy chocolate syrup, right?

When you rebuild your system, consider switching to synthetic.  It's
good
for cars that do a lot of sitting.  Yes, I've heard all of the stories,
but I have had nothing but success using it.
