Just my two cents on spitfire rear wheel bearings.
Had to change one my old 77, and I agree with the concensus... it's a bitch!
I also tried the slide hammer, gear puller, and several machine shops to
get it pressed off (required a 35 minute drive to find one that could do it!)
After we got it off the hub had to be sent out to another machine shop to
be trued (it had developed a nasty bend).
The job cost me a week and a half of downtime and a lot of skinned
knuckles. Hopefully I won't go down that path with the 76 in the near
