An Alternative to the solid mounts is the Polyurethane rack mounts available from British Parts NorthWest. 503-864-2001 They are considerably less expensive than the solid and will give under extreme loads, but are normally stiffer than the rubber. I have a set on my TR4 a. But since I have not driven the car since I put them on I am not sure how they affect the driving. Come to think of it I have never driven this car. But some day, maybe some year!! Thanks Tom Leake 65 TR 4 A IRS (still in rebuild) |
