The Calif. bill to exempt cars 25 yrs & older (SB42) passed the state Senate on 3/20/97 by a vote of 33-0. It is now in the Assembly where it has been sent to the Transportation Committee. 1st hearing date 4/14 postponed. 2nd hearing date 4/21 postponed.
