That roughly matches with my off-the-top-of my head estimate,
too.  Tack on 8 hours labor (slow worker?), and you could be
looking at $600-$700.

Hmm.  It was mentioned that this mechanic was supposed to
be very good with LBCs.  Maybe all of his experience is
with deep-pocketed Rolls, Aston Martin, Lotus and Jag owners?
