This might explain a problem I have with the rear bearings. I 
replaced both bearings and back axle with new but then a couple of 
hundred miles later, the bearing was noisy again and there was a 
small amount of visible play. Is this caused by using the wrong 
torque (of the hub nut?). If so, was it too tight or too loose?
