Hey Listers:

Last Sunday I hastily purchased a '66 Morris Mini Woody at a lien sale. No
time to really check it out. Brought home yesterday. Will describe all
problems known below. I realize now that this car will continue to sit
(although garaged) for quite some time until I get to it. Neither my wife
or four daughters like the car! I am located 4 hours from San Francisco.
First $1,000 takes it away! Here is the description:

Car has been sitting for 2 years. Owner moved away, failed to pay storage
fees. All CA DMV paperwork filled out and in hand.

Car was hit on right front side. Needs new fender. Heavy rust on both
front doors. Right front needs new door, left front needs a new skin.
Sliding windows in doors are fine. Serviceable front grille. "Barn doors"
at back of the car are PERFECT, maybe a few spots of very light rust. All
wood is missing.

Interior: all instruments there (3 gauge cluster), seats need rebuilding.
Windscreen is OK. Missing long sliding side windows. Right hand drive!!
Some rust in floors will defintely need attention. Headliner torn. Heater,
turn signal indicators (with the cute light at the end of the stalk!) work.

I started the 850 engine briefly; sounds very rough. Hey, a matched set of
Pirelli 10" tires!

If you are interested in this rare RHD Mini Woody, please contact me
privately by e-mail. I am looking for a quick sale!

Cheers,
