i hauled the rear spring out yesterday afternoon, no easy task
since it was really arched. i measured the clearance on mine
and it was 4.5". i guess one of the DPO's did not like the look
of the normal 1-2 degrees negative chamber and had the spring
arched more than he/she should have.
the spring appears to my untrained eye to be a normal (except for
the radical curve) spit 1500 swing spring. does anyone know how
to spec this spring to factory spec's?
now what to do? new spring, try to get it arched back to normal?
it obviously has enough spring left.
