The PCD (Pitch Circle Diameter) or 'Bolt Circle'
of Triumph Herald/Vitesse/Spitfire/GT6/TR7 cars
is not quite unique,as it is identical to some FIAT cars
noteably the FIAT Super-Mirafiori,which had rather nice alloys/mags
that were popular with Triumph owners here once.
nb.slightly longer wheel studs were fitted to the Morris Marina (yuch) and
are useful when retro-fitting,usually thicker,alloy/mag wheels.
They can be obtained from John Kippings Triumph Spares of Coventry,England.
(I wonder how many of you listers regularly check your possibly original
wheel
studs and nuts for stretch or thread wear?,they don't last for ever, and they
tend to suffer at the hands of morons wielding air driven wrenches at the
tyre/tire depot)
Remember, you really do not need to lose any of your four favorite
wheels,whilst driving your Triumph!.
Regards
Leon
