Chad,

How long it will take I think will be in direct proportion with how many
electrical devices you want to function. ;-)

Seriously, I don't think this is not going to be as easy as it sounds.
How involved of a restoration is he doing? What isn't working now?

I would only take on a job like this with two understandings. First, the
gentleman understands the quirks of The Prince of Darkness. A new
harness _may_ greatly improve the overall situation, but there are no
guarantees in life, especially when Lucas is involved. Second, get paid
by the hour.

I assume you will be installing a _new_ harness, right? You aren't even
thinking of using a used harness with untold little gremlins living
inside, right? On the other side hand, I've heard stories where a new
harness didn't quite fit right, or didn't have all the wires it should,
or the pigtails weren't long enough.

Also, lets assume you do the job, and everything works. You know once
you do this job you _own_ all the electrical problems this gentleman
encounters in the future. Yuck.

It does seem like a no-win scenario, doesn't it? The electrics worked OK
before I disassembled one of my TR250's. When it's time to reinstall the
harness, I am not sure whether or not I am going to buy a new one or
not.
