Thanks for your posting regarding the Red 250. This car was a regular
entrant at the British Car meet held at Oakton Community College every
September. This last September it wasn't there. I don't remember the owners
name but I talked with him several time regarding the car. He had installed
the P.I. and suffered a lot of expensive problems making it work properly.
It sounded to me that he really relished the cars performance and tested
it's potential frequently.
It's really sad that it all ended up that way. Sometimes when I get a
little carried away I have to remind myself that accidents do happen and
there's not a lot of human protection in a LBC.
On a happier note I want to advise Steve Thornton that TCF-739L is alive
and well in Hickory Corners, actually it's hibernating the long Michigan
Winter in the pole barn right now. It's Primrose (originally Signal Red)
with Black hides, and 60 spoke wires.
