Tom:
I, for one, hope no one calls for a rope! We are a society refusing to wait
for much of anything. When we order that burger we want to be chewing it as
the last words leave our mouth. Part of this discussion stems from this
attitude, which most of us have and don't even realize.
Making decisions about any business can be very difficult, especially when
you must maintain inventory and project demand. Maybe TRF misjudged demand,
Maybe the $$ are not on hand to service the demand quickly, only Charles
knows for sure.
I do believe that TRF has contributed to customers frustration by creating
the APPEARANCE of lack of focus on what we, the customers, believed to be
the main issue, LBC parts. My guess is that it is a marketing strategy which
missed the mark. Maybe Charles would have been better off keeping 'Teddy' on
his desk and out of his catalogs. I for one would rather see a complete
comprehensive TR 2/3/4 catalog than a series of rambling, disjointed
incomplete catalog efforts including hairbrushes, Teddy, the Pub etc.
There is a mutuality of interest required to keep the parts coming to us.
We all need to keep in mind that there is a worse circumstance than waiting.
NO PARTS AT ALL!
