I have just rebuilt my front suspension (73 TR6) and found grease in the
trunnions. However, I will be using oil from now on.
To inject the oil into the trunnions, I use a small grease gun - MOSS
calls it a 'vintage style grease gun' part no. 386-710. It has a cork
sealing ring that will expand to keep the oil from leaking out too much.
I save my regular grease gun for grease.
And I don't remove the grease nipples each time.
