Jake, Congrats on the car running. Oil filters can be purchased thru
Brittish Victoria in Kansas. They have lots of parts for TR's, most are
pretty good, some you have to watch out for but I've gotten oil filters
before with no problem. Their number is 1-800-255-0088 and shipments
arrive within a week depending on how close you are to them. Good luck.

Well good news everyone, the car runs. Do you remember me Jake(16 yrs old)
with the 73 spitfire. Well at around 2:30 a.m. Sunday morning it came back
alive after about 7years (2.5 that I owned it) After getting gas to the
carb and the firing order in the right order it started right up. One
thing
I do need to find is a new oil filter for it, any sugestions or a way to
make it use newer style filters.
