On a similar note; here's another tale of Lucas vodoo! Back in '82, my fiancee (Now the Mrs.) had a nice '80 TR7 convert. Being the nice guy I am, I was tuning up for her. I had disconnected the coil wire, and was bumping the engine over to find TDC. The car fired up and ran! I jumped out, double checked that I had pulled the coil wire (I did!), and swore that the car was possesed! To this day, I can't figure out how that happened. |
