YES and YES (bold, italic, underline, red warning font)!!!  Is this the
better of the two cars you are looking at?  Or just the one you like the
looks of?  If the eariler car has a lot less rust (probably unlikely) than I
would consider the other car.   After just having welded in both floors,
inner and outer sills,  and done a little reconstructive surgery I can tell
you, you are in for a LOT of really nasty, dirty HARD work - you have to ask
yourself is this what you really want or would it be better to look for a
cleaner example?  Im not trying to discourage you just warning you of what
you may be getting involved in.  The bumper, although hard to come by should
be the least of your worries.  The rust is the major culprit on almost any
Spitfire, especially the sill area (which is a THREE piece sandwitched and
sturctural member) and if what you see is that bad on the outside then I
guarantee that you have major rust inside where you can't see!  The body
panels are allmost all readily available, but like I said, can be a lot of
work to replace!
