Scott; I did a similar no brainer on a Pinto(!) years ago. The result was I fried the internals of the alternator. The damage resulted in a open circuit that left the starter inoperable and me stranded in the driveway. Might be worth it to have it checked. Also, the shop manual states there's a fusible link in the wire harness (somewhere?) If that blew, you'll have no juice flowing. |
