Two days of record warmth in the Midwest has allowed me to get a much
better picture of how to finish this rack & pinion set up.
What's need is one 3/4" splined universal and a 3/4" spline to 5/8"
spline
shock coupling (to take out road vibration), as thin as they make. If all
else fails, the local farm machinery supply house should provide the
necessary parts.
