Are there any substantive differences between the emission control systems used on late model, say 77-80, Calif and Fed cars? My reading leads me to believe that all of these cars had: AIS, EGR, Fuel Evaporative Control (though I think this varied somewhat on the different cars) and Cat. Converter. It appears to me that in general the major differences were in the carb used and perhaps the tuning. Barry H. Adams |
