Scott, welcome to the finer points of oil changes in a TR6! The 250 is
the same way! You could do as some I have seen, and cut a hole in the
wheel well in line with the oil filter and remove it that way. Or you
could just remove the steering column every time - not all that hard to
do. Or you could do like most of us do, and realize that the cannister
is not made to come out when you change your oil.
Your right, some genius is laughing his a** off every day at the left
hand drive TR6 owners.
