The real question is, is my information helpful, or will it just stir
 the pot with more questions?

 First, the raw data.

 Engine # Head #

 CC435E 307837
 CC3837E 307837
 CC6999E 307837

 So, seems simple, right?
^^^welll maybe...^^^

 Wrong.
 ^^^^^^^^you said that ...not me^^^^^ <g>
The part number on the head showed up in a different place on the head
 mated to 'ole 435...

On 3837 and 6999 the number was cast between the forward head bolts, as
                                    ^^^^^^^NO not the cast #^^^^^^^
was descirbed in Nick's first post requesting our help.
<snip>
  Come
to think of it, the heads may of looked a little different as well.
 Hummmmm.

Henry-
Thanks for the numbers...BUT, the head number that changes through the years
and modifications, is the STAMPED number located on the flat area between the
first and second head stud outside of the valve cover on the passenger side
(for lhs cars) of the head.
BTW, how on earth did you end up with 3 TR250 motors?
Lets see, I think I see a trend here, you've got three, and Michael N has one
in his GT6...are there any TR250's with an original motor out there? Is this
some sort of plot? Should we call Dana and Fox?

The truth is out there...
