Earlier in this discussion, a list member had mentioned that Datsun 240-Z
rear drums, with minor modifications would work on TR3's. Does anyone else
have more info on this? Sounds too easy to be true, as the only mod
required was the skimming off of a flange on the back of the drum. Does
this work for only the 9" TR brakes? What about wheel bolt spacing and the
like? With the numbers of 240's rusting away in wrecking yards, seems we
would have a lifetime supply of aluminum rear drums!
