Which brings up the burning (no pun intended) question: why did
Standard-Triumph NOT fit fuse boxes to 948 and 1147 Heralds, except for
the North American market, where we got the typical two-.22 caliber (or
35 amp if you're fussy about originality) fuse box? Maybe it's the same
reason that temp. gauges were always found on U.S.-spec Heralds (and I
don't know what the reason for that is, either).
Maybe enquiring minds DON'T want to know.... :-)
