Hi,
I am using Condon & Skelly in Mount Laurel, New Jersey. It's costing
about $30/year for classic insurance for my '71 TR6. Of course, the usual
restrictions apply -
                1) limited to 2500 mile/year
                2) Must not be the main car
                3) Car must be garaged
                4) Must have 10 yeares drving experience
                5...n) Plus probably others

But I don't drive over 2500 miles/year and it is garaged. And if I had
to pay
$1000 like a regular car, I would probably think again about my LBC hobby.
Anyway,
to get back to your original question, I had no problem getting my card. In
fact,
since I live near the main office, I got my card the same day as my
application.
Then within a few(2-3) weeks, I received my permanent insurance card in the
mail. Can't beat that!
