We recently had a major discussion on this sublect. There ended up being
too basic schools.
1. Put them on as tight as possible (no movement of the knockoff).
- keeps splines from moving against each other and causing wear
- They can come off wile driving if too loose. They will not tighten
while you drive
2. Just get the major play out with the hammer and they will tighten while
you drive.
- You can damage parts by hitting them too tight
- Wheels tighen while driving.
Both sides agree that hubs and knockofs have to be on correct sides or they
will lossen while driving.
You need to periodiaclly remove wheels and regreese splines.
