Not wanting to ruin you dream, "there is no rust in Texas", but it is
imported!
Some cars are brought in from the rust prone areas to get a Texas title and
advertised as Texas (or California) cars to the poor European. A guy
recently
bought a "Texas TR6" that ended up having a Michigan (land of salt) title.
My GT6 is a prime example of the combination of British steel and the
Texas climate. Imported through Houston and living in Texas over the last 25
years (except for 2 years Florida for business) it is a real rust free car
right down to the last screw.
