At the lasr two regional events in Dallas, 5 years apart, the club ran an
Autocross at Pennington Field ( an extra large high school football/track
arena). The parking lot is concrete and large enough for a nice course. 6
years ago, RRTC clubmembers who also raced TR's set up the event and it was
primo. Last year they contracted with the local Jag club and it
...uh.....well it sucked it comparison. I think they learned their lesson and
will get either an SCCA group or other qualified group to run it. The road
racr track isn't built yet, so the only thing that would be available would
be the brand new NASCAR oval.
