I've just removed the facia board and guages from the car. The wood is in
good shape but badly stained. The plastic finish is all but gone. Does
anyone know of any product that would restore the wood to a point where
sanding would be minimal? I'm concerned that the stains are too deep to get
out by sanding alone and force me into buying a new piece. I seem to
remember hearing about an acid that is used at marinas to restore Teak
without sanding. Any ideas? Thanks.
