        Hi,
I'm looking for some advice on a 69 spitfire. Here's part of a long story. A
couple of days ago I traded a 76 XJL6 Jaguar (good shape) for two Spitfires,
one 78/1500 and a 69 MK3 (not so good). I'm interested in restoring the 69,
assuming it would be a collectors item, but not forsure.
Here is a few thing that I know it needs, a new top, the interior
reupholstered, Floor pans, and of course a little body work and paint. It
runs but I would like to go through the engine (if parts do not come with a
price tag like the Jaguar)
Most of this I will do myself.
Here is the list of questions that I have.
1. Where is a good place to get parts? (like chome, windshield rubber, top, ect)
2. Is there any usual troubles with this model I should look for?
3. When I rebuild the motor is there any little extra I should include to
pep it up?
4. For the BIG QUESTION will it be worth what I will have in it??

P.S. please don't tell me I should have keep the Jag my wife will kill me.
