All,

        I'm going to back out of this discussion now, and leave
us to more "technical" and fun matters.  I think the list has
enough fodder to formulate its own opinions of how our hobby/lifestyle
may change.

        As I continue my research and read the textural content of
the appropriate bills (which are on-line at http://www.sen.ca.gov/), I
was amused to see that the bills refer to collector cars as "retired cars".

        Humph!
