        Glad we could be of service.  I was amazed how much it helped my tach.
Unfortunately it didn't make my tach read correctly (it reads about 20% high).
I take it I need to take it to a "speedo shop"?  Is it possible to adjust
myself? (safely, that is)

        I think the difference is <1%, so I wouldn't go much faster!  That's
probably less than the difference between new and worn-out tires.

        Uh, 3.70?  I thought it was 3.55:1 on the TR6.  Or at least that's
what's on the face of my tach (why on the tach and not the speedo, I can't
say).  Note: non-OD '70 TR6.

        Aren't the 215's a bit wide (WW) for the stock 5.5" rims?  205's
are just about right.

        They're Al.  The part that rusts is the frame member they bolt to.
